Who we are

Andes Leather is a leather goods studio based in Patagonia, Chile. We make premium handcrafted leather desk accessories, corporate gifts, and personalized leather goods for professionals across the United States.

We were founded on a simple conviction: the objects you work with every day should be made with the same care you bring to your work. A desk mat shouldn't be a plastic mousepad repainted in faux-leather. A wallet shouldn't crack after a year. A portfolio case should outlast the deals you carry in it.

Everything we make uses full-grain vegetable-tanned leather — the highest quality available. Not corrected grain. Not bonded leather. Not PU. Full-grain. The surface that retains the natural markings of the hide, develops a patina, and becomes more beautiful over decades of use.

Why Patagonia

We're not from Patagonia for marketing purposes. We're from here because here is where we learned to make things correctly. In a place this remote, this demanding, this unforgiving — you either build things that hold, or you don't build.

Our artisans have spent years working leather. They use saddle-stitch technique — two needles, one thread — because it's the method that won't fail even if one side breaks. They burn and wax the edges by hand because a machine can't feel when the finish is right. They engrave or stamp personalization by hand because the pressure of a stamp is not a variable a machine learns to judge.

We also run a corporate gift program for US companies who want custom leather gifts with their logo engraved or client initials embossed. We work with law firms, architecture studios, real estate companies, private equity firms, luxury hotels, wineries, and private clubs who need premium gifts with craft behind them.

Shipping to the USA

We ship all orders directly from Patagonia to the United States with free shipping. Standard delivery takes 7–12 business days via international courier. Every shipment includes full tracking and is packaged in our signature kraft and leather-accent packaging.
